Die political correctness fordert manche Menschen wohl zu einer ganz besonderen Sprachakrobatik heraus. Dass sie dabei Probleme mit der deutschen Sprache haben, ist bei dieser Wortschöpfung sehr augenfällig.
Was ist also verwerflich am Wortteil “Glied”, daß es getilgt und durch “Frau” ersetzt werden musste?
Ein Glied ist laut Wikipedia:
* ein bewegliches Körperteil eines Lebewesens, also Gliedmaßen
* das männliche Glied
* ein Teil einer Kette
* eine militärische Aufstellung
* ein Monom eines Polynoms in der Mathematik
* in der Mathematik eine Komponente einer Folge
* eine elektrische Filterschaltung
Da ich davon ausgehe, dass die zweite Bedeutung für Unruhe in so manchem feministischen Herzen gesorgt hat, sei zur Begriffsklärung gesagt, dass bei Mitgliedern von Teilen einer Vereinigung gesprochen wird und dieses Wort absolut keine sexuelle Komponente in sich birgt.
Ich habe mich mal an eine Tilgung des “Gliedes” heranwagen wollen, aber als aus Armen und Beinen Frauenmaße wurden, habe ich aufgegeben, zumal dann aus Mitgliedern konsequenterweise Mitklitoris hätten werden müssen.
Ein schöner Satz wäre auch “Wir gratulieren der deutschen Fußballfrauschaft zum Gewinn des Weltmeisterinnentitels”.
Über die Wortschöpfungen zum Thema Trans* will ich mich hier nicht auch noch lästerlich äußern.
An Stelle einer es jeden recht machen wollender Korrektheit, die an die Funktionärssprache der Altkommunisten erinnert, sollten wir uns doch einfach auf die Gemeinsamkeiten einigen, zum Beispiel mit “Gay-Community” oder auch “Queer-Community”, dann fühlt sich keiner benachteiligt und wir alle uns angesprochen.
Diesen Artikel hätte ich übrigens nicht geschrieben, wenn ich nicht so viele tolle lesbische Frauen kennen würde!
